Last night, Gwynn’s of Mount Pleasant gathered Charleston’s top tastemakers and influencers for an unforgettable evening at Gabrielle, Hotel Bennett’s signature restaurant, in celebration of the L’Agence trunk show. Hosted by Madison Simon, third generation of the Gwynn’s family and contemporary women’s buyer, the evening beautifully blended fashion, artistry, and hospitality, uniting two of Charleston’s most iconic names - Gwynn’s and Hotel Bennett.
Guests were welcomed into a dreamlike setting: vintage suitcases stacked high with Gwynn’s boxes and pieces from the new L’Agence collection flanking the entrance. Inside, every touchpoint felt thoughtful and personal, from handmade name cards with tassels meant to emulate a vintage hotel key to live fashion illustrations created on-site for each guest, to a vibrant “build-your-own bouquet” bar offering floral keepsakes.
And the celebration doesn’t end there.
The full L’Agence collection will be available to shop at Gwynn’s of Mount Pleasant throughout the week ahead. Clients are invited to continue the experience in-store, where they can build their own complimentary bouquets, take home specially curated cookies, and enjoy a gift with L’Agence purchases.
As Gwynn’s looks ahead, last night’s event also marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter: an ongoing collaboration with Hotel Bennett.
