Estelle Colored Glass will open its first retail store on Charleston’s iconic King Street on February 14, 2025. The store, located within The Charleston Place, will feature its signature line of hand-blown glassware and cake stands inspired by the vintage colored glass collected by founder Stephanie Hall’s grandmother, Estelle. Drawing upon her own childhood memories of Sunday dinners with Estelle and her extended family, Stephanie has created a brand that honors and perpetuates this tradition.
The space, designed in partnership with AD100 design firm Workstead, spans 1,200 square feet and features octagon entrance outfitted with floor to ceiling shelves stocking the line’s colorful glassware, a permanent mocktail bar allowing guests to experience the glassware firsthand, and a community table inviting to preview Stephanie’s seasonal tablescapes.
The art of hospitality will be on full display in the space, which is stocked with the line’s growing collections, including decanters, cake stands and various glassware shapes and colors allowing customers to shop exclusive items and to create custom sets found only in the Charleston store. The heirloom-worthy pieces can be packaged in Estelle’s signature boxes for safekeeping at home, or for an elegant gift presentation.
“I am thrilled to open our first concept store in Charleston and to offer a fully immersive experience for guests and we can’t wait to welcome you into our jewel box of a store,” says Estelle Colored Glass founder Stephanie Hall.
Founded in October 2019, Estelle Colored Glass is a luxury brand of hand-blown and specialty made colored glass cake stands and stemware in a mix of jewel tones and so pastels. The Estelle Colored Glass collection features original commissioned works made by glass artisans in Poland in a glass making factory with a rich 100-plus-year-old history. Estelle Colored Glass pieces are best described as "jewels for your table."
