Lowcountry Harley Davidson is hosting a charity ride on Saturday, August 3, 2024 with all proceeds benefiting Dorchester School District Two (DDTwo) students in need. DDTwo Superintendent Dr. Shane Robbins will participate in the charity ride.
Participants in the charity ride have the option to pay a registration fee or bring school supplies to Fill the Bus. The cost is $20 per rider and $15 per passenger (no cars). Registration begins at 10 am at Lowcountry Harley Davidson (4707 Dorchester Rd., North Charleston).
The community is invited to participate in the school supply drive as well as the after party from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Attendees can enjoy live music, free food (while supplies last), vendors, photo booth, giveaways, and prizes. Please note activities and food are geared towards adults.
As the fifth lowest funded district in the state (out of 80 districts), community partnerships are an integral part of DDTwo as they assist in providing every resource possible for all students in their academic journeys.
Interested businesses can contact the Community Relations Office (Jennifer Passmore, jpassmore@dorchester2.k12.sc.us) to learn how you can become a DDTwo Business Partner.
