On Friday, Sept. 11, and Saturday, Sept. 12, Wild Common will celebrate the fruit of summer with its Annual Tomato Dinner.
The event will feature a reunion and collaboration between Chef Orlando Pagán of Wild Common and Chef Rogelio Garcia of Napa Valley.
The two Michelin-starred chefs will curate a menu around the bounty of tomatoes for this year's dinner.
Pagán and Garcia will collaborate to present:
- A multicourse menu celebrating the fruit of summer: tomatoes.
- An experience rooted in shared techniques, ingredients and perspectives.
- A dinner centered on dialogue between product, people and place.
- A $250-per-person menu with optional specialty cocktails and beverage pairings.
- Seatings at 6, 7, 8 and 9 p.m.
The reunion comes after the two chefs first worked together in San Francisco, with Pagán at the helm of Village Pub and Garcia at sister restaurant Spruce.
Having spent time at Cyrus and The French Laundry, Garcia's food is grounded in the agricultural bounty of Northern California while rooted in the depths of his Mexican heritage.
Due to the nature of the dinner, Wild Common is unable to accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies or menu changes. Those with questions can contact the restaurant at 843-817-7311 or info@wildcommoncharleston.com.
