Makeready, hospitality creator and operator, will host a dinner and neighborhood celebration on Sunday, May 15th at 7 pm with its Charleston brands – Frannie & The Fox, Hank's Seafood Restaurant and Little Palm. The event will be the debut installment of Makeready's The Assembly, a company initiative created to connect, engage, and support local communities through culinary experiences.
“The Assembly is a natural extension of Makeready's commitment to the local communities that have so graciously welcomed us into their neighborhoods,” said Christine Magrann, President and Chief Operating Officer of Makeready. “This inaugural event is really a nod to the city and our local partners to celebrate our neighbors, all while creating a memorable, social culinary experience for guests.”
Charleston-based planner, Tara Guérard is the official event planner, and she’s put together this culinary event taking place in Emeline's open-air Greenhouse. The ticketed event will feature live music throughout, a cocktail reception presented by The Ryder Hotel's Little Palm, followed by a family-style dining experience with a collaborative menu created by award-winning chefs, Tim Richardson of Hank’s Seafood Restaurant, Tim Morton of Frannie & The Fox, as well as Makeready's Director of Culinary Operations Frank McMahon. The menu will showcase seafood from local fishmongers and curated wine pairings from G.H. Mumm, the beverage sponsor for the evening.
A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Makeready's local partner Ben's Friends, a community-based support group for food and beverage professionals who struggle with addiction and substance abuse.
