The Select, a restaurant that opened on Meeting Street in July 2024, has closed its Charleston location, the owner announced Thursday. The original restaurant in Sandy Springs, Georgia, will remain open.
Owner Dave Greene shared the news on social media, writing in part:
“Opening this restaurant was a true labor of love, and I'm incredibly proud of what our team created here. Still, despite our best efforts, we've faced challenges that make continuing unsustainable at this time.
“I want to express my deepest gratitude to our staff for their dedication, and to each guest who dined with us, supported us, and helped bring this vision to life. Your warmth and enthusiasm have meant more than you know.
“Thank you, Charleston, for welcoming us and for the memories we've made together.”
