The Junction Kitchen & Provisions is hosting a special Teacher Appreciation Happier Hour to mark the 100th day of the school year.
Charleston County teachers are invited to the private, free event Friday, Jan. 23, from 3 to 5 p.m. Teachers who show a CCSD ID at the door will receive complimentary drinks and light bites, along with entry into on-site raffles for the chance to win Junction gift cards.
“As the daughter of a teacher, I’ve seen what public educators go through,” said Kimana Littleflower, owner of The Junction Kitchen & Provisions. “It’s hard work and often thankless. Opening our doors to local public school teachers is just a small gesture to show how much we appreciate them and all the behind-the-scenes work they do to support the kids in our communities.”
The Junction Kitchen & Provisions is located at 4438 Spruill Ave. in the Park Circle neighborhood of North Charleston. Established in 2015, the restaurant is owned and operated by Littleflower and offers breakfast and lunch all day, along with brunch on the weekends. Nearly 11 years later, The Junction remains one of the only full-service breakfast spots in the area and continues its winning streak as Charleston City Paper’s Best North Charleston Brunch.
