Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center, the region’s leading resource for preventing abuse, protecting children and healing families, invites the community to participate in the 26th annual Hope Grows Here Dinner Auction. Funds raised support services for children and families affected by abuse.
The dinner auction will be held Feb. 5, 2026, at The Cedar Room and is known for its intimate setting and the generosity of its guests. Organizers aim to once again raise more than $1 million in a single evening. Since 2001, the event has generated funding to cover the cost of comprehensive services for more than 6,000 children and their families.
This year’s celebration will also include an online auction opening Feb. 1 and available to the broader community. The online auction will feature items ranging from unique experiences to fine jewelry, all donated by local businesses, allowing supporters to bid from home.
Guests attending the dinner auction will enjoy cocktails and appetizers while bidding on silent auction items and an exclusive art wall. A specially prepared three-course meal will be followed by a live auction featuring luxury vacations, dining experiences and original fine art.
“The Hope Grows Here Dinner Auction is more than a fundraiser; it is a reflection of what our community can accomplish when we come together to protect children,” said Beverly Hutchison, executive director of Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center. “Every dollar raised directly supports Dee Norton’s mission to lead a child-focused, communitywide response to prevent abuse, protect children and heal families.”
Dee Norton provides expert, comprehensive services at no cost to families, from the first concern through the healing process. Since opening in 1991, more than 36,000 children and their families have received support through the center.
Community members are encouraged to mark their calendars for the online auction beginning Feb. 1 and to follow Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center on social media for event updates and featured auction items.
A limited number of tickets remain available for the Feb. 5 dinner auction. Tickets are $750 per guest and can be purchased online.
