The Black Food Truck Festival officially returns for its 5th Annual event this spring, taking place April 24-26, 2026, at the Exchange Park Fairgrounds in Ladson.
Adding to the anniversary excitement, the festival has been nominated for “Best Cultural Event” in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice Awards. You can vote for the event here.
To celebrate five years of community impact, the festival is offering limited discounted early bird tickets throughout February in honor of Black History Month. Tickets are available now at blackfoodtruckfestival.com.
The Black Food Truck Festival serves as a powerful engine for Black-owned businesses. Last year alone, the festival generated a $10.2 million economic impact, driving tourism and creating opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
"Reaching our fifth year is a testament to the incredible support of the community and the talent of our vendors," said festival founder Marcus Hammond. "This anniversary is about more than just great food—it’s a celebration of the resilience and creativity that have made this festival a staple of the Lowcountry."
The 2026 edition will feature over 40 food trucks showcasing a diverse menu—from traditional Gullah Geechee favorites and soul food to vibrant West African and Caribbean flavors. Attendees can expect an elevated 5th-anniversary experience, including:
- Live Entertainment: A high-energy lineup of bands, DJs and performers.
