On Wednesday, Sept. 23, Shake Shack will open its first South Carolina location at Tanger Outlets Charleston, 4840 Tanger Outlet Blvd., Suite 791, in North Charleston. The Shack will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Guests can enjoy Shake Shack favorites, from the ShackBurger and crinkle-cut fries to hand-spun shakes and limited-time menu items throughout the year, including the new Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Shake.
On opening day, the first wave of guests will receive custom South Carolina-themed Shake Shack cold cups.
As part of its Stand for Something Good initiative, Shake Shack will donate $1 for every sandwich sold at the Charleston Outlets Shack on Sept. 23 to Lowcountry Food Bank, supporting its efforts to fight food insecurity across coastal South Carolina.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will also be held at 9:30 a.m. with the mayor of North Charleston, Charlie T. RiverDog and Cool Ray from the South Carolina Stingrays.
