The South Carolina Aquarium today announced a culinary event, the Good Catch Dinner, hosted by Chef Graham Calabria of Calabria’s Fine Foods. This shindig will take place on September 22nd, 2024 and will celebrate local seafood through a multi-course, wood-fired meal crafted by Chef Calabria.
Guests can enjoy a menu that is entirely dependent on the freshest catches from the days leading up to the event. Plus, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with industry professionals who are at the forefront of sustainable fishing practices.
“We are excited to collaborate with Chef Graham Calabria for this special event,” said Louden Porter, Good Catch Coordinator at the South Carolina Aquarium. “His dedication to sourcing and showcasing local ingredients aligns perfectly with our mission to promote sustainable seafood and support our regional fishermen.”
The event will be held at Union Station (652A King Street) and tickets can be purchased here.
Proceeds from the Good Catch Dinner will support the South Carolina seafood industries in ongoing efforts to protect and preserve our coastal waters and marine life.
