Sorelle (88 Broad St.) will continue its Andiamo Guest Chef Series this fall with a special two-night event featuring acclaimed Memphis-based chefs Michael Hudman and Andy Ticer on Thursday, September 12th, and Friday, September 13th. The notable Southern chefs join Sorelle Chef Nick Dugan in the kitchen to create a collaborative prix fixe menu featuring their shared passion: Italian cuisine.
Born and raised in Memphis, Ticer and Hudman have been redefining Italian cuisine with a Southern twist since opening Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen in 2008. Trained in Charleston and Calabria and recognized by Food & Wine as Best New Chefs, Bon Appétit, and the James Beard Foundation, the duo's culinary journey includes acclaimed restaurants like Hog & Hominy and Catherine & Mary’s.
On Thursday, September 12th, Chefs Ticer and Hudman join forces with Chef Dugan and his team at Sorelle to prepare a feast featuring dishes such as Clams with pancetta, shallot, calabrian chile, lemon conserva; Grilled Mortadella with muscadines, watermelon molasses; and Ravioli with maw maw’s gravy. The prix fixe menu will be served in the main dining room with a la carte options available for walk-ins at the bar.
For a more intimate dining experience, Chefs Ticer and Hudman return the following evening, Friday, September 13th, to co-host a small dinner in Sorelle’s private dining room located on the third floor.
Tickets for Thursday, September 12, are $165 per person, which includes the multi-course dining experience with cocktails, beer, and wine available a la carte along with an option to add a curated wine pairing for an additional fee. Purchase here. Tickets for the intimate Friday, September 13th, dinner are $450 and include the multi-course menu and wine pairings. Both evenings can be booked on Sorelle’s website at sorellecharleston.com.
