Saltwater Cowboys announced today that the restaurant will be temporarily closed from Jan. 5–12, 2026, to complete a "major" renovation. This marks the first major renovation since the restaurant opened in 2017.
“After nearly a decade of serving the Lowcountry community, the Saltwater Cowboys team feels the time is right to refresh and enhance the guest experience,” said owner Wade Boals. “The renovation will include upgrades to the kitchen, dining room, and bar, along with new tables, chairs, updated colors, décor, and design elements throughout the space.”
While the main restaurant is closed, guests can continue to enjoy Saltwater Cowboys' favorites through The Wagon, located at the entrance to the restaurant on Mill Street. The Wagon, which opened this fall, offers to-go ordering for pickup and delivery from Saltwater Cowboys’ menu and is available on Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub.
