This June, Rudy Royale is celebrating five years in downtown Charleston with a month-long anniversary celebration featuring returning menu favorites, loyalty promotions, and special events.
To celebrate the milestone, the restaurant will bring back five retired dishes from the past five years as part of a special anniversary menu available throughout June.
“Our menu has always evolved organically,” said partner Macready Downer. “Some dishes became signatures, some were complete accidents, and some guests still ask about all these years later. This felt like the perfect excuse to bring a few of them back.”
The restaurant will also highlight longtime employees across social media during the month, sharing stories from team members who helped shape Rudy Royale over the years, including Executive Chef Landice Simmons. Beginning his culinary career washing dishes in the early 2000s, Simmons worked his way through every station in the kitchen, learning the business from the ground up through years of discipline, consistency, and hands-on experience.
“These are the people who built the culture of the restaurant,” said Marissa Rende, Rudy’s General Manager. “Five years in hospitality means thousands of services, long nights, busy weekends, and a lot of shared experiences together. We wanted this celebration to feel personal.”
To thank loyal guests, Rudy Royale will offer a special 20X points promotion through Blackbird, encouraging locals and returning guests to celebrate alongside the team all month long. Additional anniversary surprises, special event announcements, and custom artwork installations are also planned throughout June.”
