Rodney Scott’s BBQ is closing its King Street location at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 3, “until further notice.” Employees at the restaurant confirmed the news by phone after an email from operating partner Sam Ayala discussing the closure was shared on social media Sunday.
Ayala’s message said the Charleston restaurant was closing due to “unfortunate circumstances that were out of management’s control.”

Customers can visit Rodney Scott’s BBQ at 1011 King St. until the 5 p.m. closure.
