Mount Pleasant Towne Centre’s newest restaurant, Revolving Sushi Kingdom, officially opened its doors to the public on Monday, Sept. 21. The restaurant will hold a soft opening through Sept. 27, with modified hours from 4 to 8 p.m.
Revolving Sushi Kingdom’s grand opening will take place Monday, Sept. 28. Beginning that day, the restaurant will operate during its regular hours: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The tech-powered sushi bar will offer an interactive dining experience in a family-friendly atmosphere, with a menu of more than 100 dishes, including sashimi, tempura, ramen, nigiri, hand-rolled sushi, dumplings and other Japanese favorites.
Guests can enjoy smaller plates delivered via a rotating conveyor belt or place orders for larger dishes directly from iPads at their tables. Adding to the experience, food will arrive via animal-shaped trains traveling from the kitchen to diners’ tables, creating a memorable dining experience for guests of all ages.
