Restore at Carolina Park will host a dumpling-making class with Sarah’s Dumps on Tuesday, April 14, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and BYOB.
During the class, guests will learn how to make mandu (Korean dumplings) using a traditional crimping technique. Once wrapped, Nate Williams-Scalise, co-owner of Sarah’s Dumps, will steam and pan-fry the dumplings while answering questions.
Sarah and Nate will also share the story of Sarah’s adoption, her experience at a Korean culture camp and their journey owning and operating a small food business together over the past five years. The evening will conclude with a full meal featuring Korean dishes and sides prepared by the pair.
Tickets are $50 and can be purchased here.
