The Spoleto Festival is almost here, and locals and visitors will be looking for places to dine before or after shows throughout the event. Below are a few restaurants offering special menus and cocktails during this year’s festival.
- Spoleto Menu: Select Spoleto sips, including the return of the popular “Kosmos” made with dragon fruit syrup, lime, and a choose-your-own-adventure of gin or vodka, alongside a lineup of quick, shareable snacks designed for an easy pre-show stop.
- Think Crab “Rangoon,” Scallion Oil Noodles, dumplings, shumai, and more from Chef/Owner David Schuttenberg.
- Spoleto Menu: A set “pre-show” menu available daily from 5–7 p.m., featuring a rotating selection of seasonal dishes from Chef Kevin Johnson that can be enjoyed comfortably within a shorter window before a show.
- Spoleto Sip: The Heyward 21, Ginger Infused Rum, Plum Wine, Strawberry, Lemon
- About: A fitting cocktail named for DuBose Heyward, the Charleston-born novelist and playwright best known for Porgy (1925), which became the foundation for the acclaimed opera Porgy and Bess.
