The Charleston sports-social tavern will host five nights of live music, two Guest Bartending Nights benefiting local charities, Jimmy Buffett Music Bingo, Harry Potter Trivia and reservable NFL fantasy football draft parties throughout the month.
The lineup begins Saturday, August 1 with Jimmy Buffett Music Bingo followed by live music from Macelyn Batten, then continues through Friday, August 28 with a second performance from the Fo Daniels Duo.
Jimmy Buffett Music Bingo
Saturday, August 1 at 3 p.m.
Red Palm will trade traditional bingo numbers for boat songs, beach anthems and Jimmy Buffett favorites during an afternoon of music bingo featuring the Lowcountry Parrothead Club.
Players will listen for songs, mark their cards and compete for $100 in Red Palm house cash. Knowing every deep cut is not required, but confidently singing the wrong chorus may become a problem.

Red Palm’s August live music series gives Charleston five late-summer nights built around local performers, cold drinks and a room that gets better once the music starts.

Be A Mentor Guest Bartending Night
Thursday, August 6 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Guest bartenders Rod Razavi, Boomer Oyler and Heath Johnson will step behind the bar for a night benefiting Be A Mentor.
The Charleston-based organization connects young people with mentors who can provide encouragement, guidance and consistent support.
Guests can support the cause by ordering from the guest bartenders throughout the evening. A portion of proceeds will benefit Be A Mentor.

NFL Fantasy Football Draft Parties
Available by reservation throughout draft season
Fantasy football leagues can move their annual draft out of the living room and into Red Palm’s gaming area, featuring pool and darts.
The draft-party package is $35 per person and includes domestic beers, a wing platter for the league and a reserved table in the gaming area.
Leagues only need to bring their rankings, laptops and the one manager who will spend ten minutes pretending to consider four players before making the obvious pick.

Harry Potter Trivia Night
Wednesday, August 19 at 7 p.m.
Red Palm will return to the wizarding world for Harry Potter Trivia Night.
Teams will compete across questions inspired by the books, films, characters, spells and magical details that separate casual viewers from people who have been preparing for this night since childhood.
The top teams will compete for $100 in Red Palm house cash.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early, choose a team name they are prepared to say publicly and avoid putting too much faith in the friend who claims to know everything about horcruxes.
Going Places Guest Bartending Night
Thursday, August 20 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Red Palm will host its second Guest Bartending Night of the month when Jared Kensky and Hailey O’Dell take over the bar to benefit Going Places.
Going Places is a Charleston-area nonprofit working to provide children with bicycles and other opportunities that create joy, confidence and connection.
Guests can support the organization by ordering from the guest bartenders throughout the evening. A portion of proceeds will benefit Going Places.
Together, the August lineup reflects Red Palm’s role as more than a place to watch a game. The tavern brings live music, sports, themed competition, local partnerships and community fundraising into the same lively, social room.
