Local 616, a popular dive bar in downtown Charleston, today announced it will be closing its doors after business on February 12th. Owner Dwyane Mitchell opened the Meeting Street watering hole in 2013.
Mitchell announced the news on social media, saying the closure was due to the rising costs of doing business, specifically mentioning insurance rates and inflation.
