This May, Poogan’s Smokehouse is celebrating National BBQ Month with a cocktail that goes well beyond the usual garnish.
Available only throughout the month of May, The Whole Hog Mary ($18) is a bold new Bloody Mary crowned with a slider version of the restaurant’s signature Four Porksmen sandwich, stacked with bacon, a smokehouse rib, smoked sausage, and pulled pork.
“National BBQ Month felt like the right moment for us to have a little fun with one of our signature items," said Cameron O’Toole, Director of Sales & Marketing for Poogan’s Hospitality Group. "The Four Porksmen already had a reputation for being one of the most over-the-top things on our menu, and the Whole Hog Mary is our way of taking it even further by putting it on top of a Bloody Mary. We’re hoping it becomes the kind of beast people will want to conquer, photograph, and share."
