Fresh off its national recognition as the No. 6 Best Cultural Festival in the U.S. by the USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, the Black Food Truck Festival will return for its fifth annual spring event this weekend. Organizers will welcome the community to Exchange Park in Ladson from April 24-26, 2026, for a weekend celebrating food and culture.
The festival’s entertainment lineup will feature a mix of musical talent aimed at matching the event’s high-energy atmosphere, including DJ Payme, Renaissance Orchestra, Buddy Red and Red Sample.
“Our mission has always been to celebrate the soul of our community through food, culture and economic empowerment,” said Marcus Hammond, founder of the Black Food Truck Festival. “With our new national ranking, we wanted to ensure our entertainment lineup reflected that same premier standard. These artists are the perfect heartbeat for an event that celebrates the very best of the Lowcountry.”
The festival’s recent No. 6 national ranking places it alongside some of the country’s largest cultural celebrations. Since its inception, the event has welcomed more than 40,000 attendees, providing a platform for local entrepreneurs and generating economic impact for small businesses.
In addition to live performances, attendees can expect an expanded roster of food trucks, local artisan vendors and family-friendly activities.
