Coming off the heels of Charleston Restaurant Week, the Town of Mount Pleasant and the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce (MPCC) are teaming up to keep the table set for local eateries. The fifth annual “Dine Where You Live” campaign officially kicks off Feb. 1, encouraging residents to continue their support of the community’s unique food and beverage establishments throughout the month.
While regional events draw crowds to the Lowcountry, "Dine Where You Live" focuses on the long-term impact of supporting the friends, neighbors and family members who own and operate Mount Pleasant’s culinary scene.
“We're excited to join forces once again with the MPCC for the Dine Where You Live campaign," said Mayor Will Haynie. "We take pride in promoting ongoing support for Mount Pleasant’s food and beverage community and shining a spotlight on the numerous contributions they make to our town and the East Cooper area.”
To add some flavor to the month-long celebration, the Chamber will host weekly giveaways. Each week, one lucky diner will win a $50 gift card to a participating Mount Pleasant restaurant.
