Moxy Charleston Downtown (Moxy) announced their own handpicked bourbon barrel with North Charleston’s Beyond Distilling Company.
To celebrate this limited-edition launch of the branded bourbon, the Moxy’s rooftop bar and terrace, Bar Moxy, will be hosting a free Bourbon Barrel Release celebration this Saturday, March 15 from 6-9 p.m. Overlooking a panoramic view of the Ravenel Bridge, guests can enjoy an evening of complimentary tastings, specialty cocktails, live music from local favorite, Full Flannel Jacket, and an on-site tattoo artist providing free flash tattoos.
“Whether you’re a bourbon connoisseur or just getting into the world of whiskey, we’ve worked with the team to select a barrel-aged to perfection that everyone can enjoy,” said Moxy Bar Manager Trace Conway. “It’s truly a taste worth celebrating. Beyond Distilling Company is a craft distillery specializing in Bourbon, Rum and Gin with a mission of inclusion. The company intentionally employs neurodiverse adults to demonstrate the advantage of creating a truly inclusive workforce.
