Halloween is quickly approaching, and Mellow Mushroom is getting into the spooky spirit with a limited-time seasonal cocktail.
Available for $9 at participating Mellow Mushroom locations through Monday, Nov. 2, the Wicked Wizard is made with Don Q Cristal Rum, fresh sour, lime juice, Mellow’s Moondust syrup — made with blue spirulina and Monin Dragon Fruit Syrup — cream of coconut, coconut milk and blueberry-flavored popping pearls. The cocktail is finished with a thick sugar rim.
“The Wicked Wizard is pure Halloween magic, with Mellow’s signature purple color and popping pearls that give the cocktail a playful, bubbling-cauldron effect,” said Elizabeth Brasch, executive vice president of people and brand at Mellow Mushroom. “We wanted to create something visually unexpected and trend-forward, without losing sight of making a cocktail that tastes every bit as good as it looks.”
