The grand opening celebration is set for May 10 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event welcomes guests to celebrate with giveaways, seasonal bites, beverages, and the full Mabel Mae’s and Atlyss café experience.
“We believe in treats for all,” said founder Niki Dube, whose own life journey inspired her to create Mabel Mae’s Bakery. “Whether you’re a nursing mama, gluten intolerant, vegan, or simply on the hunt for better-for-you desserts, we have you covered.”
Mabel Mae’s Bakery was born from both tragedy and hope. After returning from maternity leave with her daughter, Mabel—as the COVID-19 pandemic took hold—Niki lost her mother, Marian (Mae), and her marketing job in quick succession. Rather than give up, she decided to bet on herself and her lifelong dream: bringing healthier, plant-forward treats to the community.
Niki’s mother had always cooked with hidden health benefits in mind, using plant-based recipes and wholesome ingredients. That approach, coupled with Niki’s need for nutrient-dense lactation treats while breastfeeding, shaped the bakery’s philosophy of “treats for all.” Today, Mabel Mae’s offers goodies that are gluten-free, vegan, soy-free, artificial-sugar-free, dye-free, and refined-sugar-free.
Named in honor of Niki’s mother, Marian (Mae), and her daughter, Mabel, Mabel Mae’s Bakery focuses on providing “kinder treats” that everyone can enjoy—without compromising on taste.
