Lowcountry Food Bank's 26th annual Chefs' Feast event, held on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025, raised $630,000, a new fundraising record for the event. The event was held at the Trident Technical College Thornley Campus in North Charleston.
500 community partners and guests attended the event to unite our community in pursuit of equitable, dignified, and consistent access to food.
All proceeds from Chefs' Feast support Lowcountry Food Bank's childhood hunger programs.
For the seventh consecutive year, the Chefs' Feast presenting sponsor was Atlas Tech, Additionally, an anonymous donor provided a $26,000 matching gift challenge.
Dave Williams, ABC News 4 Chief Meteorologist served as the event's emcee. Chefs' Feast is a collaboration between the Lowcountry Food Bank and more than 35 of the community's most celebrated chefs who served delectable bites for guests to enjoy. Guests participated in a live auction and met the Lowcountry's own celebrity chefs as they served up signature dishes.
For the eighth consecutive year, Chef Jacques Larson, Executive Chef of the Obstinate Daughter and Wild Olive, served as Chefs' Feast Lead Chef. Chef Robert Carter founded Chefs' Feast in 1999, and the event has become one of Charleston's largest charitable events.
The slate of participating 2024 Chefs' Feast restaurants included 82 Queen, Aramark at College of Charleston, Barnyard Chicken, Burwell's Stone Kitchen, Cane Pazzo, Church & Union & The Tempest, Circa 1886, Cru Catering, Culinary Institute of Charleston at Trident Technical College, Duvall Catering and Events, The Establishment, Felix Cocktails et Cuisine, Hank's Seafood, Fleet Landing, Frannie & the Fox, Jackrabbit Filly & King BBQ, Kultura, Kwei Fei & Beautiful South, Lowcountry Food Bank, Magnolia's, Martin's BBQ, Millers All Day, Oak Steakhouse, Obstinate Daughter, Red Drum Restaurant, The River Course at Kiawah Island Club, Roxa, Salthouse Catering, The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Resort, SNOB, Swig & Swine, Talucci's, Vern's, Wild Olive.

As living expenses, gas and grocery prices remain high, funds raised at Chefs' Feast help ensure that children who face food insecurity will have consistent access to the food they need to thrive."
Unfortunately, one in five children in the Lowcountry experiences food insecurity. For 26 years, LCFB has depended on Chefs' Feast to fund its childhood hunger programs. Proceeds from Chefs' Feast benefit Kids Café, Backpack Buddies, School Market, School Pantry and Summer Meals - which alleviate after-school, weekend, and summer hunger for children.
