The Les Dames d’Escoffier Charleston Chapter is accepting donations for its Culinary Bazaar, set for Saturday, April 26, 2025, at High Wire Distilling’s Barrel Room from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. This signature fundraising event offers a curated selection of high-quality kitchenware, with proceeds supporting the chapter’s philanthropic efforts, including scholarships for women in the food, beverage and hospitality industries.
HOW TO DONATE:
The Culinary Bazaar is seeking like-new, gently-used, and high-quality kitchen and culinary items, including:
- Vintage & antique cookware
- Top brands (Le Creuset, All-Clad, Mauviel, Vitamix, etc.)
- Complete sets of flatware, glassware and linens (sets of 4+)
- Countertop appliances (must be in working condition with all parts)
- Unique kitchen items or those with a special history (e.g., a mixing bowl once owned by a renowned chef, including a note detailing its story)
Items that CANNOT be accepted:
- Furniture, foodstuffs or promotional logo items
- Single plates or stemware (sets of 4+ only)
- Worn or heavily used plastic kitchenware (e.g., Tupperware)
