Legami, the new contemporary Italian restaurant in downtown Charleston, this week announced their new winter menu items. You can see the details below.
While menu staples such as the Shrimp & Caviar made with shrimp pieces in the shape of noodles in a lemon vanilla sauce; King Crab Tagliolini with mussels, garlic, olive oil and chili flakes; and Filet Mignon alla Wellington served with confit potatoes will remain on the menu, Chef Andrea Congiusta is introducing new dishes such as:
- Burrata with pistachio salsa verde, zucchini scapece, lemon and served with focaccia
- Roasted Asparagus with parmigiano reggiano crema and topped with a crispy poached egg
- Bottoni, a button shaped ravioli filled with butternut squash and topped with parmesan cream and brown butter sage with an optional add-on of shaved black truffles
- Pappardelle al Ragù with braised oxtail ragù in pomodoro sauce and topped with pecorino romano
- Roasted Chicken Cacciatore, glazed in tomato sauce and roasted potato crema and topped with olives, pine nuts and capers
- Brasato Al Barolo made with beef cheeks braised in Barolo wine and served with a celery root puree.
