Legami, the contemporary Italian restaurant in downtown Charleston, today announced its new summer menu.
Chef Andrea Congiusta is offering new dishes inspired by seasonal ingredients and Italian summer classics such as:
- Scallop Crudo complete with sundried tomato EVOO, calabrian chili, brown butter orange sauce and oregano breadcrumbs.
- Crispy Polenta topped with pomodoro and shaved parmesan.
- Summer Watermelon served with marinated tomatoes, basil EVOO, raspberries, pickled radish and tarragon.
- Shrimp Kataifi topped with spicy honey and saffron aioli.
- Tagliolini Pescatora complete with lobster, mussels, shrimp, scallops, garlic, EVOO, calabrian chili flakes and pomodoro sauce.
- Gnocchi di Ricotta with ricotta cheese, 24-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano, nduja sausage, asparagus, artichokes and summer peas.
- Estiva with mesclun greens, marinated peaches, beets, cherry tomatoes and goat cheese.
In addition to the summer menu, Legami has recently launched Sunday brunch available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The menu features dishes inspired by recipes that Chef Congiusta grew up enjoying, as well as a selection of classic brunch dishes.
