On Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Learn4Life High School and Charleston Hispanic Association (CHA) are joining forces to provide packaged food to the community completely free of charge.
Learn4Life says they have seen an increase in food insecurity with its students and the surrounding community. To help, they have partnered with the Charleston Hispanic Association, which is dedicated to helping the Hispanic community settle and succeed by introducing them to local business and services friendly to the Latin community.
The giveaway will happen at Learn4Life High School, 6209 Rivers Ave., North Charleston.
Learn4Life is a public charter high school that offers personalized learning, a flexible schedule along with life and job skills training.
