James Island’s Kwei Fei has teamed up with Low Tide Brewing for a limited-edition beer collaboration.
Chef David Schuttenberg of Kwei Fei partnered with Low Tide Brewing head brewer Sam Pagano to create a custom Kwei Fei beer, a toasted sesame lager designed to pair with the restaurant’s bold, spicy Sichuan flavors.
The collaboration will launch with an official release party at Low Tide Brewing on Friday, May 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. Guests can sample the beer alongside a pairing bite from Kwei Fei for $10.
Following the launch, the beer will be available for a limited time on tap at Kwei Fei and sister restaurant Beautiful South, while supplies last at Low Tide Brewing. Cans will also be available to-go from the brewery.
