Josh Walker and Sarah O’Kelley, longtime figures in the Charleston wine scene, will host a holiday wine “showdown” on Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Wine & Company, 441 Meeting St.
Walker and O’Kelley will each feature three of their favorite holiday wines for tasting. Tickets are $15, and glasses of featured wines will be available for purchase, along with retail bottles. Wine & Company will offer a discount on featured wines when six or more bottles are purchased.
Guests can fill out scorecards to vote for their favorites, with completed scorecards automatically entered into a raffle for a Wine & Company gift card.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a toy or food item for the holiday drive hosted by local nonprofit BE Impactful. Wine & Company will serve as a drop-off location through Friday, Dec. 5. More information is available at beimpactful.net.
