Holy City Brewing last week won a gold medal in the German Hefeweizen category at the 2026 U.S. Open Beer Championship, an event celebrating brewing excellence.
The North Charleston brewery earned the award for its popular Washout Wheat.
Several other South Carolina breweries also won medals.
