Award-winning Charleston icon Hank’s Seafood Restaurant today announced the introduction of their lunch service, bringing their Lowcountry cooking to midday diners starting Oct. 2. Reservations are now open on Resy, with lunch offered Thursday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Rooted in the restaurant’s 25+ years of tradition and focusing on refreshed lunch options, longtime Executive Chef Tim Richardson's new menu features classics like Oyster Casino, Seafood à la Wando, and She Crab Soup alongside fresh flavors like the Shrimp Basil Burger with spicy tomato remoulade, the Fried Chicken, and “Fresh Catch” Sandwiches and the Southern Coleslaw.
"After 25 years of serving the Charleston community, Hank's Seafood Restaurant is officially opening our doors for lunch," shares Executive Chef Tim Richardson. "We've created a menu that captures both our Charleston roots and the flavors that diners crave. Our curated lunch menu includes new items such as our Shrimp Basil Burger, as well as Hank's Seafood classics like Shrimp and Grits and Tuna Tartare."
In addition to the new lunch fare, they’re also offering $5 monthly rotating martini flavors, kicking off this October with the “And Just Like That…” martini, inspired by the iconic cosmopolitan. Diners can also expect to see new beverage offerings exclusive to this midday service, including non-alcoholic options like The Pilot with rosemary, lemon and ginger and cocktails like the At the Fair, with vodka, apple pucker, allspice dram, lemon and salted caramel syrup.
Hank’s Seafood Restaurant will also be offering brunch specials every Saturday and Sunday, like Sauteed Lump Crab Cakes Benedict and Local Brioche French Toast.
