Fresh Future Farm in North Charleston has announced new hours starting April 2, offering opportunities to shop, take farm tours, attend classes, and volunteer on 3rd Saturdays. The farm continues its mission to provide fresh food and strengthen community ties through local engagement and education.
Fresh Future Farm is excited to announce updated hours and volunteer opportunities, designed to enhance our long-term mission of providing fresh, locally grown food while deepening community ties. These changes reflect our ongoing commitment to serve our neighbors through food access and education in North Charleston and beyond.
Starting Wednesday, April 2, our new store hours will be:
- Wednesday through Friday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- 3rd Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
We invite community members, regional neighbors, and visitors to engage with the Farm in these meaningful ways:
- Shop our Store: Our inventory features local produce, grocery essentials, gift cards, garden cheat sheets, free seeds, farm merchandise, and more.
- Take a Tour: Experience a guided tour of our .81-acre urban farm. Tours are available Wednesday through Friday, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM ($10 for adults, $6 for children, free for children under 2).
- Take a Class: Educational programs will be announced in-store and on our social media channels.
- Volunteer on 3rd Saturdays: Help with seasonal farm tasks, learn about our ancestral conservation practices, and connect with fellow community members
- Donate: Your donation funds our sliding scale Neighborhood Discount, mutual aid services, and educational programming.
Our team at Fresh Future Farm is incredibly grateful for the continued support of our customers and community. We truly enjoy providing local, fresh food to North Charleston residents and are thankful to those who have supported our journey thus far.
Adrian Mack, Co-Director of Education and Operations, shared, “We are definitely looking to be more farm-focused this year and put ourselves back in front of people. So we’ll be at some of your local farmers markets, events, and hopefully be able to join a CSA or two.”
