Following the success of its inaugural Brew Day held in honor of International Women’s Day, Feral State is proud to announce the official Feral State Beer Launch Event, taking place on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Wyrd Sisters Taproom & Brewery in Charleston.
This highly anticipated event celebrates the release of the first-ever Feral State Beer, crafted through a powerful collaboration with a team of accomplished local brewers and community partners. What began as a day of education, empowerment, and craft on Brew Day now comes full circle with a large-scale public celebration.
A Celebration of Community, Craft, and Collaboration
The Feral State Beer Launch Event is designed to bring the community together in a vibrant, high-energy setting that highlights the strength and creativity of women in the brewing industry.
Guests can expect:
• A women-led vendor market featuring local businesses and artisans
• Live entertainment throughout the day
• Smashley’s Food Truck serving crowd favorites
• The first official pour of the Feral State Beer
• Opportunities to connect with brewers, vendors, and Feral State Members
This event is open to the public (21+), and guests are encouraged to celebrate responsibly.
From Brew Day to Launch Day
The beer being released was created during Feral State’s Brew Day on March 6, 2026 — a collaborative brewing experience held at Stone’s Throw Brewing. That event brought together an extraordinary group of brewing leaders who donated their time, expertise, and resources to create something truly meaningful.
Leading the project were:
• Brit Slechter of Wyrd Sisters Taproom & Brewery
• Michelle Lapp of Two Blokes Brewing
• Erin Maynard of Commonhouse Aleworks
• Kimberly Arnold of Frothy Beard Brewing Company
• Malteurop Malting Company - Product Donator
With coordination and support from David Seyler of Stone’s Throw Brewing, a dedicated Feral State advocate who helped bring this collaboration to life.
This launch event serves as the culmination of that effort — transforming a collaborative brew into a shared community experience.
Volunteer & Community Involvement
Feral State’s events are made possible by an incredible network of volunteers and community supporters. For the Beer Launch Event, volunteers will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience by assisting with:
• Event setup and breakdown
• Guest check-in and hospitality
• Vendor support
• General event flow and coordination
No prior experience is required — only a willingness to support the mission and bring positive energy to the event.
