Charleston’s hospitality community is once again rallying to help those in need. With recent cuts to SNAP assistance leaving more Lowcountry families struggling with food insecurity, Feed the Need Charleston is stepping up with a new community-wide fundraising campaign to benefit the Lowcountry Food Bank.
From Nov. 11 through Nov. 30, 2025, restaurants and hotels across the Charleston area will join the effort by including donation prompts with guest check presenters, encouraging patrons to contribute directly. One hundred percent of proceeds will go to the Lowcountry Food Bank to help provide nutritious meals to families most affected by reduced SNAP benefits.
“Charleston’s hospitality community has always shown what’s possible when we come together,” organizers said. “Every dollar raised will help ensure more of our neighbors have access to healthy meals during a time of growing need.”
