Drawing Near to God (DNG), a Mount Pleasant-based women’s nonprofit ministry, is inviting the Charleston community to enjoy an evening of live music, fresh oysters and exclusive auction items at their 2026 Oyster Roast & Auction on Thursday, March 12, at 6 p.m.
Held at the Cooper River Room (99 Harry M. Hallman Jr. Blvd) in Mount Pleasant, the event will feature entertainment from The Blue Dogs Trio alongside oysters and a live auction benefiting DNG’s work serving women in the Lowcountry and beyond. Those interested in attending can purchase tickets online for $75; sponsorships are still available, and in-kind auction item donations are also welcome.
Founded in 2001, DNG helps women understand they were never meant to walk alone. The organization has walked alongside thousands of women and equipped ministry leaders across the Charleston area and beyond by creating spaces for women to grow in faith and build meaningful relationships through local groups, weekly gatherings, prayer and daily devotionals.
