Cheerwine, the iconic cherry soda beloved across the South for more than a century, has announced the return of Cheerwine Holiday Punch, now available for the first time in 12-ounce cans (12-packs) alongside the brand’s signature 2-liter bottles.
Cheerwine Holiday Punch combines the soda’s signature cherry flavor with tangy pineapple juice and bubbly ginger ale, creating a blend that captures the spirit of the season in every sip.
“Cheerwine, and especially Holiday Punch, has been woven into Southern holiday traditions for generations,” said Joy Ritchie Harper, vice president of marketing for Cheerwine and a fifth-generation member of the founding family. “Cans bring Holiday Punch into more moments—from tailgates to tree trimming—while 2-liter bottles still anchor the table at family gatherings. However you celebrate, there’s now a way to make Cheerwine part of it.”
To celebrate the return of Cheerwine Holiday Punch, the company partnered with 20 mixologists from across the Carolinas to create original cocktail and mocktail recipes featuring the seasonal soda.
Charleston-area restaurants and bars participating include:
- King BBQ - Sharing The Night Together
- Sorghum & Salt - Dark & Cheery
- Sorghum & Salt - Day Sipper (mocktail)
- Swig & Swine - HO HO Hold My Punch!
Cheerwine Holiday Punch is available for a limited time in 2-liter bottles and 12-pack cans at major retailers across North Carolina, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia. Cans are also available outside the Carolinas at Food Lion locations in Virginia and all Food City stores in Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia.
