The Lowcountry Food Bank (LCFB) is in critical need of donations this holiday season, with more than 200,000 neighbors in the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina facing food insecurity. In honor of the season of giving, Charlotte Berger PR (CBPR) is sponsoring a Donation Drive for Lowcountry Food Bank at The Harbour Club at WestEdge on Thursday, Dec. 18, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Guests can enjoy complimentary beverages and bites on the terrace at The Harbour Club, take in the beautiful Ashley River views and hear directly from LCFB’s Chief Development Officer, Brenda Shaw, about their mission and impact.
This event is open to the public, and interested attendees can register for free here.
CBPR asks that all attendees bring a donation or food items valuing $20+ to attend. LCFB’s highest-need items include:
- Canned tuna and meat
- Canned fruit in water or juice
- Low-sodium canned vegetables
- Peanut butter
- Rice
- Whole-grain cereal or pasta
The Harbour Club is located downtown on the 7th floor of 22 Westedge. Parking is free for the first two hours in the Publix lot next door.
