New York City-based self-serve frozen yogurt shop, 16 Handles, will open its first-ever Charleston location in the city’s Point Hope Community.
Officially opening with exclusive perks on Saturday, May 31, the shop will host an all-day grand opening party from 12 to 10 p.m., and will be offering free cups of fro-yo to the first 100 guests, 50% off for guests who stop by between 12 and 5 p.m. and 25% off for anyone who visits during the rest of opening weekend. Grand opening attendees can also expect interactive family-friendly activities throughout the day.
16 Handles Charleston will be open Sunday to Thursday 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The location will offer 16 signature soft-serve flavors, including rotating limited-edition flavors (which launch on the 16th of each month) and 40+ sweet treats and sauces for toppings. Freshly-made smoothies and milkshakes and various pre-made frozen desserts like cakes and take-home pints will also be available.
Rotating yogurts include allergen-conscious options such as vegan, dairy-free, egg-free, nonfat and no sugar added flavors, as well as traditional dairy ice cream. 16 Handles Charleston will be a Kosher Certified business.
