After the success of his Valentine’s Day pop-up dinner, Chef Jake White and his company, Charleston Chef Service, want to offer diners a fresh take on farm-to-table with The "FARMmentation" Series, a new menu concept and pop-up dinner. Chef White describes the series as “Farm-to-Table cooking with thoughtfully fermented ingredients.”
Menu features are expected to include offerings like Snapper Sashimi with lacto-jalapeno, green apple, and coconut sugar or Coffee-Kombucha Tiramisu. Nearly all of Chef White's ingredients come straight from the Lowcountry and he says he prepares and ferments them with respect to the traditions of the land's predecessors.
You can book Chef White through chschefservice.com or by calling (443)-825-2892. Look out for “The FARMentation Series” pop-up dinners at various locations throughout Charleston by following @chschefservice on Instagram.
