Certified Sommelier Sarah O’Kelley will offer a series of winter wine classes at Wine & Company, located at 441 Meeting St. The sessions, which begin Jan. 10, will explore major European wine regions including France, Italy, Spain, Germany and Austria. Each class is designed as a stand-alone introduction, making the series accessible to both beginners and seasoned wine enthusiasts.
The classes are geared toward anyone considering an entry-level wine certification or simply looking to expand their wine knowledge. Sessions will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on select Saturdays throughout the winter and early spring.
Tuition is $50 per class. Hospitality industry professionals—including those working in restaurants, bars, hotels and wine sales—are eligible for a 50% discount with proof of active employment.
Each session includes tastings of four wines, a small snack and a detailed information packet with maps.
