With National Root Beer Float Day coming up Thursday, Aug. 6, MilkShake Factory is highlighting one of America's most iconic soda fountain treats with its limited-time Root Beer Float, available as part of the brand's America 250 lineup.
Made with bubbly root beer poured over housemade vanilla ice cream, the classic dessert drink delivers the nostalgic flavors generations of Americans have enjoyed for decades. Simple, refreshing and timeless, the Root Beer Float pays tribute to the soda fountain traditions that helped inspire MilkShake Factory's America 250 menu.
"Root beer floats are one of those treats that instantly take people back to childhood summers," said Dana Edwards Manatos, founder and CEO of MilkShake Factory. "There's something special about the combination of creamy vanilla ice cream and fizzy root beer that takes people back to summer afternoons, family outings and old-fashioned soda fountains. It's simple, familiar and the kind of treat people never really outgrow."
The Root Beer Float is one of six limited-time offerings featured on MilkShake Factory's America 250 menu, available through Sept. 13. Inspired by beloved American desserts and soda fountain classics, the lineup also includes the All-American Apple Pie Milkshake, Southern Banana Pudding Milkshake, Confetti Birthday Cake Milkshake, Classic Chocolate Malt Milkshake and Strawberry Shortcake Sundae.
