Cane Pazzo, a neighborhood osteria from Chef Mark Bolchoz, is set to open its doors in Hanahan this Saturday, June 14. It will be located at 1276 Yeamans Hall Road.
Open for dinner Tuesday-Saturday, the menu tells the story of Mark's Charleston upbringing, calling on freshly fished, farmed, and grown ingredients from local purveyors, combined with his love of Italian cuisine and cooking.
Handmade pastas anchor the menu, like a She Crab Raviolo with blue crab, sherry cream, crab roe, tarragon, and chive; or a Corn and Pepper Risotto with SC grown corn, confit peppers, red onion, serrano, and pancetta, while wood-fired proteins and vegetables round out the experience.
The restaurant will have a wood-fired oven and will also serve small plates and large format entrees that are intended for the table to share. Complementing the cuisine is an extensive list of old world and natural wines.
The space will feature exposed brick walls, terrazzo flooring, archways, and sourced and repurposed furnishings. Through a dutch door, which also doubles as a wine window, an outdoor patio offers picnic seating for a lighter menu of bites and drinks, as well as a setting for events, popups, and other programming.
