With Military Appreciation Month in full swing, Golden Corral is helping spotlight a side of service that often goes overlooked: the experiences of military children.
Through its longtime partnership with Camp Corral, the brand is working to send thousands of children of wounded, ill and fallen service members to a free, weeklong summer camp where they can connect with peers who understand the unique challenges that come with military life firsthand.
This year marks Camp Corral’s 15th anniversary, with the initiative raising more than $19 million to date and nearing a milestone of $20 million in support of military families nationwide, supporting nearly 3,000 children as they attend camp this summer.
Beyond honoring service members during Military Appreciation Month, Camp Corral also shines a light on the children and families who support them at home.
The fundraiser remains active at Golden Corral restaurants throughout May, with guests able to contribute in-store or online.
