Downtown pub Bumpa's on Wednesday announced it would be closing on March 18 after their final celebration on St. Patrick's Day. The business has been over for five years.
“Owning a bar with my brother had always been a dream of mine, and I’m so glad we got to make it a reality,” said Dan Sullivan, co-owner of Bumpa’s. “It pains me that this chapter is ending, but I’m so proud of what we built. I’m beyond grateful for our staff and will forever appreciate the locals and visitors who filled our place with cheer for nearly five years.”
The owners said they would love to see the community at their St. Patrick’s Day Bash on March 17, which is currently still on track to feature limited edition items like Cottage Pie, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Irish Breakfast Shots and, of course, green beer from Low Tide Brewing, as well as a visit from bagpipe players.
The pub and restaurant will be open during normal business hours (see below) until then.
- Thursday-Saturday: 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.
- Sunday-Wednesday: 11:30 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Bumpa's is located at 5 Cumberland Street.
