BHC is thrilled to announce a new series of food and drink activations in conjunction with the annual 2025 Credit One Charleston Open, happening Saturday, March 29 – Sunday, April 6. In celebration of the annual tennis tournament hosted at Credit One Stadium, the hospitality collection will offer a variety of food and drink-focused activations that showcase BHC’s sister properties, including The Charleston Place, The Cooper, The Riviera Theater, and Sorelle.
Tennis fans attending the Credit One Charleston Open are invited to experience The Greenhouse by BHC, a new luxury lounge situated next to Credit One Stadium’s iconic green clay court on the grand lawn. The Greenhouse offers guests the opportunity to savor a curated tasting menu from the talented chefs behind The Charleston Place, Sorelle, The Riviera Theater, and BHC’s upcoming concepts from The Cooper and American Gardens. Drinks can be purchased a la carte at the bar. For those who wish to indulge in the all-day tasting menu, wristbands are available for purchase at $70, providing unlimited access throughout the day.
The Charleston Place joins in on the tournament fun by offering the signature drinks found at Credit One Charleston Open in the “Carriage House,” a satellite bar located within the hotel’s Market Street Circle. For a limited time, the bar will be rebranded into the “Club House” and will offer the tournament’s iconic “First Serve,” a butterfly pea flower infused lemonade with Grey Goose Vodka and club soda garnished with a lemon wheel and the “The Spike'd Stunner” made with bourbon, simple syrup, lemonade, peach tea, and garnished with a mint sprig and lemon wedge. These drinks are available for purchase a la carte from March 29 – April 6 at The Charleston Place.
Alongside these public-facing events, BHC will partner with Taste of Tennis, a culinary event producer, to host Taste of Tennis Charleston on March 29. This private event pairs tennis players from the Credit One Charleston Open with different chefs at The Charleston Place to cook and interact. BHC Chefs Nick Dugan (Sorelle), Gabrielle Haaz (The Charleston Place), and Suzy Castelloe (Charleston Grill) will prepare dishes alongside tennis pros, creating an engaging atmosphere where food and sport come together in an exciting way.
“Dining out might just be the official sport of Charleston, so incorporating the BHC food and beverage properties at this year’s tournament felt like a natural fit,” said Becky Hubbard, Managing Director of The Charleston Place. “Our chefs and bartenders had a lot of fun dreaming up specials that went along with the tennis theme and we’re excited to give everyone a taste.”
