Barnyard Chicken, the Park Circle restaurant known for its signature “brick chicken,” announced Thursday that it will close its doors on Saturday, Nov. 1.
The restaurant shared the news on social media writing in part:
“With heavy hearts, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Barnyard Chicken. We’ve truly loved being part of this community — serving you, sharing laughs, and creating memories together.”
Owners Chef Eric and Carly Hara opened Barnyard Chicken on Aug. 9, 2024, at 4262 Spruill Ave. in North Charleston.
Chef Hara’s signature “brick chicken” — cooked under pressure for a crispy, brined skin and juicy interior — served as the restaurant’s centerpiece dish and namesake.
